“You bring joy and have a bright light”

You bring joy—a spark at dawn,
A beacon when the world seems drawn
In shades of gray, you brush the day
With hope that chases clouds away.

Your laughter ripples down the lane,
Like gentle rain on thirsty grain;
Each smile a lantern freshly lit,
A glowing proof the dark admits.

Across the room your spirit glows,
A candle’s warmth, the bloom of rose;
The kindness in your every glance
Invites my weary soul to dance.

For in your light we find release,
A sudden hush, a little peace;
You lift us up, make burdens slight—
A friend, a joy, a guiding light.

So hold that glow, though shadows play,
Your brightness keeps the night at bay;
You are the sun, the spark, the start—
You bring joy into every heart.
