“my boyfriend, how he's important to me, how he makes me feel like im worth something when everyone tells me im not, long distance”

Across the silent, glowing screens we talk,
While city lights like embers fall behind—
You in your midnight, I in sunrise chalk,
Two hearts entangled, never quite aligned.

You are my constant when the world says no,
A gentle echo in a crowded room;
You see my laughter even when it’s low,
Call out the blossom waiting still to bloom.

When shadows lengthen, voices press me down,
You find the light that hides behind my eyes,
Remind me, love, I do not have to drown—
I am enough; your faith refutes the lies.

Miles may stretch—a map of longing drawn—
But every word from you feels just as near;
Across the blue, toward the beckoning dawn,
You are the reason hope unwinds my fear.

So let the distance measure lines we cross—
A thousand little ways you lift me free;
Where doubts are sharp and loneliness the cost,
Your love secures my worth, my place to be.

For when the world is heavy, cold, and wide,
I hold your voice, and peace within me grows.
No distance—none—can sever or divide
The truth: I matter most to him who knows.
