“Love”

Love is the hush of evening air,
A trailing breeze that lifts your hair,
A gentle hand upon your palm,
A whispered word, a healing balm.

It is the patience morning brings,
The faith that waits through distant springs,
The laughter sparked in deepest gloom,
A candlelit and hopeful room.

Love is the garden, wild and wide,
Where seasons part and paths divide,
Yet roots entwine beneath the clay,
And blossoms dare the chill of May.

It’s compromise in tight embrace,
The tenderness in fragile space,
Forgiveness blooming from regret,
The precious things we mustn’t forget.

Love is the distance closed each night—
The ships at sea that find the light,
A guiding star, a keeper’s fire,
A song that rises ever higher.

It weaves through sorrow, kind and wise,
It’s courage found in tearful eyes,
It’s hope restored, made strong anew—
In every heart, it lives in you.
