“Happy New Year for my niece”

A brand-new year begins, my dear,  
With fireworks sparkling in the sky—  
For you, my niece, a hug so near,  
A hopeful wish as hours fly by.  

The clocks all chime their silver tune,  
Confetti twirls on midnight breeze,  
You dance beneath a laughing moon,  
With giggles rising through the trees.  

This year may bring you dreams to chase,  
New stories waiting to unfold—  
May joy and wonder fill your days,  
Like secret treasures yet untold.  

So twirl in ribbons, bold and bright,  
Count stars that shimmer just for you—  
Happy New Year, my heart’s delight,  
May happiness be yours, anew!
