“Eating healthy, growing strong and learning well in Kenyan concept”

From dawn atop the red clay hills,
Where sunbirds trill in morning light,
The shamba wakes with greening will—
A promise rooted deep and bright.

Here cassava spreads beneath the soil,
Sukuma wiki waves in rows,
Maize stands proud, the fruit of toil,
And sweet potatoes soft it grows.

Children laugh round porridge pots,
Uji steaming, warm with care;
Mango golden, passion spots,
Banana trees with bunches fair.

With every bean and leafy stew
Strong bones and quick minds rise anew.
Porridge gives the energy to run
And bright ideas shine under the sun.

In classrooms shaded by broad trees,
The children’s eyes are bright and keen,
Their tummies full, their voices free,
Ready to learn what dreams may mean.

Eat fresh from land and river’s song—
Millet, fish, and guava sweet—
Eating healthy, growing strong:
A Kenyan heart that skips a beat.

For wisdom grows where health has come,
And futures bloom from garden’s yield;
Each lesson, every sum,
Is planted first in well-loved fields.
