“Anja, I love you”

Anja, I love you as the dawn loves dew,
When crisp light finds the silvery grass anew.
Your laughter, little bells on a sunlit street,
Turns every shadow where our moments meet.

Anja, I love you as the moon loves night,
Holding the dark and turning it to light.
Your smile is a lantern, softly burning bright,
A beacon guiding me through every plight.

The syllables of your name—warm, clear, and true—
Are the songbirds returning to skies of blue.
With gentle strength, you’ve woven days of grace,
A tapestry of joy time can’t erase.

So here with my heart, I whisper and vow,
To cherish you quietly, here and now.
Anja, my love, this truth shines through—
With every tomorrow: I love you.
