“An emerging relationship dynamic between a woman and her boyfriend.”

It starts not like thunder, but a hush—
A quiet warmth that circles round the heart,
Soft laughter spanning coffee’s gentle rush,
Aloft on wings that only hope imparts.

Two strangers navigate the day’s refrain,
She traces constellations in his smile,
He tucks stray tendrils back with hands unfeigned,
And lingers in the doorway for a while.

Beneath the surface, slow tectonic shift:
Trust, shy and certain, sets the world alight;
She brings him poems, earnest, maybe swift;
He keeps odd flowers pressed away from sight.

In dinner’s glow and twilight’s low embrace,
They learn the lexicon of “us” and “we”—
An inside joke becomes a sacred place,
And forecasts change to possibility.

Old heartbreaks shimmer, ghosts in distant air,
Yet courage dances, forging something new—
For every gentle touch and open stare
Invents a language spoken by the two.

Tomorrow waits: uncertain, wide, and deep,
Yet now, they stitch a tapestry begun—
Two souls awake, and finding as they leap,
That love constructs a home where there was none.
