“A LOVE THAT STILL LIVES IN MY HEART.... A MEMORY THAT DOES NOT FADE AND A FACE THA I SEE EVERYWHERE”

There are loves that outlive the calendar’s turn,
That flicker each night with a silvery burn—
Your laughter still lingers in corners of air,
A whisper of sunlight that dances my hair.

There are memories brushed in a sepia glaze,
More vivid than moments I greet in these days;
I carry the warmth of your touch like a scar,
Soft traces of you—never distant, nor far.

In the windows of morning, the curve of your smile
Relumes on a commuter’s face just for a while.
I glimpse you in sidewalks, in headlights, in rain,
In lamplight that flickers your frown on the pane.

Each crowd is a tapestry woven with threads
That stitch your bright essence wherever it spreads—
You bloom in the gardens, you blur on the train,
A vision returning, again and again.

No calendar erases a love deeply sown,
Its roots are entwined deep in marrow and bone;
I wander this world, but wherever I start—
I carry you gently, alive in my heart.
