“A birthday poem, to a loved one who creates warmth”
Today the world grew brighter,
Lit by your gentle sun,
In every room your laughter
Dances, soft—where troubles run;
You are a cup of honeyed tea
On afternoons when storms appear,
A patchwork quilt of memory
That holds our circle near.
You plant small seeds of kindness
In places no one sees,
And somehow, with your presence,
The coldest hearts find ease.
You stir the light in winter’s dusk
And tend the summer’s bloom—
A cherished lamp that never fails
To softly chase the gloom.
So candles burn, and wishes spin
Upon your precious day,
A year ahead of miracles
That kindness brings your way.
With every gift, remember this,
More precious than the rest:
You are the warmth within my world—
The joy within my chest.
